{"id":231,"date":"2018-01-13T05:39:58","date_gmt":"2018-01-13T05:39:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/undinestudios.com\/blog\/?page_id=231"},"modified":"2018-01-13T05:43:37","modified_gmt":"2018-01-13T05:43:37","slug":"a-troll-and-his-bard","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/undinestudios.com\/blog\/?page_id=231","title":{"rendered":"A Troll and his Bard"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>A first-person, past tense novel told from the perspective of the bard.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>A troll, a talking sword, and a bard all walk into a tavern\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When a troll suddenly develops a conscious (especially a pushy conscious in the form of a giant sword possessed by the soul of a knight-errant), he\u2019s going to venture out of his forest and attempt to help a person or two.\u00a0 When he attempts to help a person or two and they run away screaming, he\u2019s going to rethink his options.\u00a0 When he rethinks his options, he\u2019s probably going to come across a bard.\u00a0 And when the bard gets caught up on what\u2019s going on, the two will come to what is probably the only logical conclusion:\u00a0\u00a0 the bard will travel ahead to each town and sing songs about the troll\u2019s many heroic (and fictional) exploits. When the troll shows up after everyone has heard tales about his heroic exploits, will people face their fears and accept his help?\u00a0 A certain troll, sword, and bard really hope they do.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>This is the book I&#8217;m currently working on.\u00a0 I&#8217;m sitting at about 50K words right now, and halfway done telling the story.\u00a0 It would be kind of cool if I hit 100K words!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A first-person, past tense novel told from the perspective of the bard.
